What is a dummy AC indoor unit, and when is it used?

A dummy AC indoor unit is an empty split AC indoor unit body: the front panel/cover and chassis only. It has no cooling coil, blower, motor, PCB or wiring, so it does not cool. It is used where only the look of an indoor unit is needed — showroom and shop display, technician training and demonstrations, or as a cosmetic indoor unit.

What is included, and what is not?

• Included: the plastic front cover and chassis — a white shell with a wall-bracket style back.
• Not included: evaporator coil, blower, swing motor, PCB, display or remote.

What sizes are there?

1, 1.5 and 2 ton sizes. Shapes vary between batches, so confirm the size and design with us on WhatsApp or by phone before you order.

What do the brand names on the listings mean?

Each listing is named for the style of the body — LG style, Samsung style, Voltas style and so on. Designs vary, so send us a photo of the look you need and we will confirm what we have.
